several Ex-Libris are known to be work of Jonas Juozas Burba... note the small author's signature at the top right...
Jonas Burba worked mainly in book illustration and covers design and colaborated with several Magazine's ; he is also known for his posters and Ex-libris..... I could not find anything related to his educational period , but I found several notes about his work in the design of the Medals of the 'Order of Vytautas the Great' and the 'Order of the Lithuanian Grand Duke Gediminas'.....
As many other Lithuanian , Jonas Juozas Burba's life ended tragically... soon after the Soviet's invasion of the Baltic States in 1940, Jonas Juozas Burba was deported and his remains only returned to his country in 1990....
