Maurice Lalau

[France] (b 1881/d 1961)


""After studying under Laurens and Benamin Constant, Maurice Lalau  started to work on wood Engraving and Lithography...he designed posters and worked as Illustrator for the editors Hachette, Boivin, Garnier or Calmann-Levy... He is also connected to the invention of a procedure of Typographic Impression called 'Graphichromie' (in french).. he collaborated with the 'L'illustation' and 'Lectures pour tous' "
